Ramblings with Rin

You catching my vibe with this week's Currently Craving? I'm still in vacation mode since coming back from Hawaii, and honestly, these picks are something that can carry through all summer long. Tropical vibes are my mood, ya hear?

1. Straw Visor: This was a game changer when I was in Hawaii. At first, I bought it as a joke but it was so nice to have laying on the beach, and I will most definitely be bringing it to my pool days.

2. Isle Of Paradise Self Tanner Drops: Okay, so I haven't tried this for myself, BUT a friend of mine looked so naturally tan the other day and she brought these drops out and I was shook. You mix the drops in with your lotion/moisturizer, and I like the idea of making it more or less diluted with drops.

3. Jungalow Carry On: I bought this a few months ago at Target and they might be sold out so linking another favorite here, but I was able to fit so many (too many) clothes when I travel to Hawaii so was definitely worth it. Plus, it's freaking adorable with that print inside.

4. Anese Booty Scrub & Mask: It took me awhile to pull the trigger on this duo. The price tag is a little high but the before and afters won me over (also, their paid social person needs a raise). The scrub is a fine walnut scrub designed to help lessen stretch marks (3x a week is the recommended use). The mask is a collagen mask that is designed to help tighten the skin. Combined, this duo is a match made in heaven for the summer time booty you want to show off.

5. Shein Two Piece Set: I'm a sucker for a good two-piece set. They are so chic and fun! I like the idea of playing with a bold print like this on vacation because honestly rules don't apply on vacation. Also, this on is only $17 on Shein, which is a steal!

It has been A WEEK. From the outside, I sometimes feel like people think working in marketing is a breeze. It can't be that hard, right? Wrong! Don't get me wrong, I really love what I do and I wouldn't change it for the world, but it can be really hard pleasing everyone and at the end of the day, I control the messaging of our company.

This week's Currently Craving are just a few of the things I've been wanting that would bring my some happiness after a trying week.

Side bar - who else is obsessed with Kristin Ess' target line. Picking just one item I love is too hard.

Forgive me for how all over the place this Currently Craving. I have had a lot of different projects and things on my mind, and this is definitely a reflection of that. Without further ado, here are this week's currently craving items!

Glass Skin Refining Serum: I've definitely been putting a lot more effort into my skin this year. As I approach my 30's, I want to make sure I'm taking the time and putting in the investment to have healthy, glowing skin. This serum is highly recommended to help smooth your skin's texture, which is something i've been struggling with in the recent years.

Faux Leather Throw Pillows: I recently bought a new sectional sofa as I start to pull my living room together. It came with some throw pillows that are just not my style, so I immediately went on the hunt for covers to update them. These faux leather tan ones are perfect for the style I am going for.

Faux Snake Skin Booties: A couple weeks ago, a co-worker of mine was wearing the cutest Free People snake booties. I knew instantly that I needed a pair of my own, but let's be real, Free People is not in my budget, so I went on the hunt for a more affordable pair to have as my own.

Tropical Print Romper: One of the most exciting things I have going on this year is a getaway to Hawaii this May. I've been slowly looking for clothes that will be perfect for this trip. This print romper from SheIn surely fits the bill.

Babyliss Curling Iron: If any of your follow Hair By Chrissy, you know this curling iron is her ride or die curling iron. I've been debating about upgrading my iron size to 1 1/4" and this one is perfect.

Currently Craving | Shopping Trends

1. | Old Navy Chunky Heel: I rarely wear flats..rarely. So, my version is a chunky heel like this one from Old Navy. It's about time to upgrade my shoes situation, and I'm all about an option that doesn't break the bank.

2. | Sole Society Neckerchief: If you saw my blog post earlier this week, I love a good neckerchief. This one from Sole Society is light weight and perfect for those hotter days.

3. | IT Cosmetics CC Cream: I have been dying to try this CC Cream. After my first facial at Zona MedSpa (if you live in Phoenix - go see Chelsea!), I realized I need a product that can play double (and in this case triple) duty as my moisturizer, sunscreen AND light foundation. I've heard nothing but good things about this product and am adding it to my shopping list.

4. | Ikea Rattan Headboard: I've been living in home remodel hell for the past year. I think the hardest part is knowing exactly what you want and then realizing how expensive it is to get that look. I have known for awhile that I want my guest room to play up on the desert vibe and have been searching for the perfect rattan headboard. I'm adding this Ikea one to the list to check out.

5. | Shein Two Piece Set: I love how two-piece sets look on so many different style bloggers, but I am so scared to try them myself. I saw this one on Shein and thought it was a good one to dip my toes into the trend.

It's Fry-Yay! It's been quite the week of celebrations, and my body is going to hate me next week when I make it back to my workouts. Oh well, it was totally worth it and your birthday only happens once a year!

This week's Currently Craving almost became a skincare round up for summer since I have been obsessed with all things skincare right now, but I decided to create a separate summer skincare post that I shared earlier this week.

1. Mejuri Gold Ring: This the most expensive item I have every featured on my blog. I am a budget buyer, but there is one thing I never buy cheap and that is my rings. Call it the Italian in me, but I am a sucker for gold jewelry. In fact, it's all I wear. I am obsessed with this double ring from Mejuri and they do have really cute dainty gold rings under $100 too!

2. Cat Eye Sunglasses: I definitely bought these at Target this week. Personally, I love them. The men in my life think they look crazy but what do they know!

3. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: Guys. This is a GAME CHANGER. I use this every night and they are so much more hydrated. I have always struggled with dry, cracked lips and this product came highly recommended to combat that. If you have the same issue, do yourself a favor and buy this.

4. H&M One Piece: This is the comfiest one piece out there. It's stretchy and flattering and I feel my best when I'm it. I bought this for the 4th and got so many compliments on it. Not to mention it's under $50!

5. The Ordinary Oil: If you want hydrated and smooth skin, I would strongly recommend adding a serum and/or oil into your skincare routine. Highly recommended my beauty and fashion bloggers, this brand is under $10 and the results are incredible. I'm definitely adding it to my list of must have skincare products.

This week off was exactly what the doctor order. It gave me the time I needed to hit the reset button and feel re-inspired about my passions and specifically blogging. During my r and r time, I found myself gravitating to learning more about skincare and researching makeup routines. I've heard a lot about Dr. Jart, and this week, it is one of my top currently craving items for the week.

Keep reading below for my top 5 picks of the week!

1. // Covergirl Flourish Mascara: I'm always on the hunt for a mascara that will make my lashes long, full and won't clump. Sounds like a pretty tall order, but I've hear that Covergirl's new Flourish mascara will do just that.

2. // Straw Boat Hat: I've been on the hunt for a "cool girl" hat for quite sometime. Problem is, I have a huge head, so it is really hard for me to find hats I like. This one from Shein looks like it could just what I am looking for!

3. // Dr. Jart Sunscreen: Living in one of the sunniest state means that my face and skin needs to be armed with sunscreen at all times. That means driving, running errands and laying by the pool. This Dr. Jart's sunscreen is top on my list.

4. // Straw Bag: I have been seeing the straw/wicker bag trend everywhere, and honestly, I'm still not sick of it. It is the perfect bag for summer and can be paired with denim cutoffs or a striped dress. This bag from Target is affordable and adorable (win, win).

5. // Rose Hydration Pouch: So you know that rule that every pool has? You know, the one that says "no glassware allowed." Well, this rosé pouch gets your wine into the pool without the annoyingness of plastic open containers. Alright, so now it's time to pool party.

SIDE SLIT ANKLE BOOTIES | GOLD HOOP EARRINGS | BERRY LIP | PENDANT LIGHT | POM POM BEANIE

Guys, it is actually starting to feel like fall here in Phoenix. It has been a long (and blazingly hot) summer, and this girl is excited to get in the spirit with this week's Currently Craving. Since I'm still in full kitchen remodeling mode (oye), I am coveting everything from home accents to the perfect berry lip color.

I would love to read what products you have your eyes on this week. Let me know if the comments below!

Guys, it has been one productive week! I managed to go to the doctor, see the dentist, apply for my passport, look at condos, blog for a whole week while maintaining my 9-5 gig. If that doesn't make me feeling like Superwoman, I don't what will.

This week's Currently Craving is a little bit different because I actually ended up purchasing most of these items. My biggest obsession right now is the Beachwaver S1. I went from never doing my hair to literally curling it nearly every. single. day. Now, that may sound like a lot of effort, but let me tell you, this curling iron cuts my time in half. I have A LOT of hair, and what used to take me an hour to curl it now take 20 minutes tops. Can you say lifesaver?

Which items made it on to your shopping list this week?!

Two words - neck. cuff. I have been lusting over this Kendra Scott neck cuff for months and am close to pulling the trigger on purchasing it. I see endless possibilities on how to style that one piece.

What are your weekend plans?

The winter weather has not been kind to my lips. I have encountered more struggles with dry, cracked lips than I have in my entire life. That is why I am craving Sara Happ's Lip Scrub to help flake away my dry skin and bring my lips back to their normal state.

Has the winter taken a toll on your skin?

I've had an itch for all things neon and spring, and this week's currently craving is no exception. From neon, stripped bikinis to neutral ankle booties, I have my eyes set on these gems. Not to mention those diamond glasses would look perfect on my bar cart.

The holidays taught me that I am rather rusty with traveling. I yearned for an easy cardio workout while away and effortless and comfortable airport style for the long cross-country flights. 2016 has a lot of great trips already planned, and I want to make sure my suitcase is fully-stocked and prepared!

What's on your 2016 wish list?

One // I spend an insane amount of time on my iPhone. There are times when I am in desperate need of a charger and there is either no outlet or charger in sight! That's where this adorable polka dotted portable charger comes in from JCrew. Compact and stylish, it is the perfect way to charge on the go!

Two // Nothing like a pair of coral, boyfriend pants for your spring wardrobe! They are the perfect transitional piece from winter to spring, and the best part is that the are from Old Navy and super affordable!

Four // The messy low bun. I have been wearing this look all week while working. It is an effortless way to keep your hair out of your face while still looking chic! A tutorial will be up next week!
