Networking is Key

The good thing about going to school for something you love is that you almost always have fun. Some classes can be more exciting than others, and my costume history class yesterday was by far my favorite. While all my other class assigned final projects and studying, my costume history teacher assigned a field trip to Vintage Fashion Inc. Located in downtown Phoenix, this store is heaven to avid vintage collectors. The owner searches for amazing vintage designer pieces from Chanel and Halston to Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood. I took some pictures with my phone of some of my favorites. You can "like" their facebook page to see new pieces added or events that will be taking place in the store!





To make the field trip even better, I was able to talk to the owner afterwards and give him my information. He was a great connection not only in the vintage world, but he works closely with designers, celebrities and even magazines. Teachers are right; networking is key.

    Beautiful photo's I love the necklaces in the first picture. I wish i studied fashion in school it would have made homework so much more fun
