Emmy Looks

Nothing like award season for a fashion junkie! I love recording the red carpets beforehand and studying all the glitz and glamour of the stars. This years Emmy's seemed to be all over the place when it came to fashions. Some stars donned short cocktail dress, while others strutted in long, extravagant gowns. Sequin gowns seemed to be the popular look of the evening along with one shoulder gowns. Here are some of my favorite looks of the night, enjoy!

Kyra Sedgwick in Monique Lhuillier, with a VBH clutch.
Best Actress Nominee Kyra Sedgwick looks beautiful in this gown from Monique Lhuillier. I am a big fan of Sedgwick's show and happy to see her win an Emmy!

Jennifer Carpenter & Michael C Hall
Michael C. Hall of Dexter looks much healthier and seems to be doing well after his chemotherapy. His wife and costar is looking stunning in sequins as well.

Kevin McHale in Burberry.
Kevin Mchale looked like he step out of Brad's closet (from The Rachel Zoe Project). The Bow-tie and glasses are a quirky touch to his red carpet look

Nina Dobrev in Zuhair Murad.
I have always thought Nina Dobrev was pretty, but she looked stunning last night. She (and many of her colleagues) wore beautiful sequined dresses and one shoulder looks, but hers was perhaps one of my favorites.

Jayma Mays in Burberry Prorsum.
I love when red heads wear blue! This Dress looks stunning on her and does wonderful things for her skin tone!

    Kevin's bow tie is beyond adorable. I was also a huge fan of Kyra's dress, but I don't like the styling. She needed an updo to show off her neck and shoulders.

    ooohh i love them all! i have to go to a super formal wedding next weekend and it was so hard to find a formal dress that was not too expensive. if i had a million dollars i would wear that long cranberry one. gorgeous!
