Ramblings with Rin

You catching my vibe with this week's Currently Craving? I'm still in vacation mode since coming back from Hawaii, and honestly, these picks are something that can carry through all summer long. Tropical vibes are my mood, ya hear?

1. Straw Visor: This was a game changer when I was in Hawaii. At first, I bought it as a joke but it was so nice to have laying on the beach, and I will most definitely be bringing it to my pool days.

2. Isle Of Paradise Self Tanner Drops: Okay, so I haven't tried this for myself, BUT a friend of mine looked so naturally tan the other day and she brought these drops out and I was shook. You mix the drops in with your lotion/moisturizer, and I like the idea of making it more or less diluted with drops.

3. Jungalow Carry On: I bought this a few months ago at Target and they might be sold out so linking another favorite here, but I was able to fit so many (too many) clothes when I travel to Hawaii so was definitely worth it. Plus, it's freaking adorable with that print inside.

4. Anese Booty Scrub & Mask: It took me awhile to pull the trigger on this duo. The price tag is a little high but the before and afters won me over (also, their paid social person needs a raise). The scrub is a fine walnut scrub designed to help lessen stretch marks (3x a week is the recommended use). The mask is a collagen mask that is designed to help tighten the skin. Combined, this duo is a match made in heaven for the summer time booty you want to show off.

5. Shein Two Piece Set: I'm a sucker for a good two-piece set. They are so chic and fun! I like the idea of playing with a bold print like this on vacation because honestly rules don't apply on vacation. Also, this on is only $17 on Shein, which is a steal!

One of the most exciting things happening for me this year is a trip to Honolulu in May. I don't get out much and the only places I really ever travel are LA and Pittsburgh (where I have family), so to say I'm excited for this trip would be a severe understatement.

Even though I have more bathing suits then I know what to do with (part of living in Arizona), I'm still on the hunt for the perfect swimsuit to bring with me to Hawaii. Zaful has so many affordable and adorable options!

Let me know your favorites in the comments below!

I much like everyone else have been eyeing the wicker/straw bag trend for quite sometime. The natural, raw look can be paid with so many different looks and really pulls together an entire look so easily. Honestly, there's not a whole lot to dislike about it.

One thing that I have not been into is the price tag that comes along with this trend. But, lucky for you, I did some digging to find the best wicker bags that won't break your bank (or mine).

Two words - neck. cuff. I have been lusting over this Kendra Scott neck cuff for months and am close to pulling the trigger on purchasing it. I see endless possibilities on how to style that one piece.

What item is on your wish list?

I rarely leave my house without a bold lip. Pink, orange, or red - there really is no lip color I won't try. But, much like you, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a pop of color on my lip, so I rounded out my top 4 drugstore lip buys for summer. Affordable and tested, these are my go-to brands for great color.

What are some of your favorite drugstore lip color picks?

The winter weather has not been kind to my lips. I have encountered more struggles with dry, cracked lips than I have in my entire life. That is why I am craving Sara Happ's Lip Scrub to help flake away my dry skin and bring my lips back to their normal state.

Has the winter taken a toll on your skin?

I've had an itch for all things neon and spring, and this week's currently craving is no exception. From neon, stripped bikinis to neutral ankle booties, I have my eyes set on these gems. Not to mention those diamond glasses would look perfect on my bar cart.

The holidays taught me that I am rather rusty with traveling. I yearned for an easy cardio workout while away and effortless and comfortable airport style for the long cross-country flights. 2016 has a lot of great trips already planned, and I want to make sure my suitcase is fully-stocked and prepared!

What's on your 2016 wish list?

Style Inspiration | Style'd Avenue
Shirt | H&M
Shorts | American Eagle
Necklace | Bauble Bar
Shoes | Sole Society

There is something about a simplistic outfit that I really love. Sometimes our lives are so complicated that is nice to have something that you can just throw on and go about your day. Dress is up with your accessories and you are good to go!

What are your favorite casual combos?

I wouldn't call this a comeback but it is a good start. After over a year hiatus, I learned that what I was missing in my personal life was my blogging flow. I will slowly ease my way back into posting but hope to get back in my daily groove of outfit sharing and shopping guides.

To start my blogging re-boot, I rounded up some of my fave shoe styles to transition from winter to those warmer months. Sole Society and Nordstrom are a great place to start for affordable styles that you can take from the office to a night out.

Which styles are you lusting over?

Recently, I have found myself obsessing over the small details that pull an outfit together. I rounded up some of my favorite details of the week. I might have already purchased the weekender bag. I couldn't help it; Target has a habit of forcing me to buy things I don't necessarily need.

What are you obsessing over this week?

Boyfriend Jeans | Sunnies | Statement Necklace | Booties | Slouchy Sweater

Wait, what's this? A FULL week of blogging? It feels good to be back to my usual blogging self. It had been awhile. I am heading to San Francisco today for the first time ever to visit a dear friend of mine. I love being in a new city and learning everything about it! Packing has always been a tough thing for me; I have a need to always want way more than I need (#fashiongirlproblems) but with the basics in mind, I managed to pack super quick!

P.S. It's my birthday today! Can't wait to celebrate with all of my friends!

Sunnies are hands down my favorite accessory. Growing up, I remember my mother telling me if I wanted to keep my eyesight I had to have my sunglasses on. I have followed her advice, and today, I never leave the house without a pair of sunnies! I rounded up a few of my favorite pairs for summer.

With the temperatures rising and my Spring wardrobe blossoming, my love for prints will be plastered on the pages on this blog in the coming months. My apologies in advance. There is something about a classic floral or an optic bold print that gives me great excitement. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of print on print pairing, but there is always a place for a classic tee and a printed pair of pants. From accessories to dresses, I have rounded up my top printed looks for spring!

I'm back! After a long hiatus from blogging, I am back at it. Long story short, I landed my dream job and have pouring myself into my work. But, I figured New Year equaled new blogging opportunities, and I just missed my readers! To kick off the New Year, I have rounded up some of my style resolutions for the new year; what are some of yours?

1. Stock up on statement necklaces: This is a great way to make a bland shirt more exciting and interesting.

2.  Sparkle more: There is nothing that some sequins can't fix. When styled right, they are a great way to create a statement with your outfit.

3. DIY more: Affordable fashion was one of the main reasons I started this blog. Over the past few years, I have found myself DIY'ing less and less and would love to start creating affordable items again.

4. Wear booties: I find myself constantly putting my feet through the pain of wearing 4 inch platform heels. While they may be cute, they are extremely painful. Booties are great alternative, and I will be stopping around these more.

5. Wear watches: I love the look of a bold watch, but I don't even own one! I would love to start incorporating watches into my accessory collection.

6. Wear dresses more: Dresses are so simple; I don't know why I don't wear them more. In 2014, I would like to stock up on go-to dresses that I can slip on in a rush.

Admittedly, My wardrobe in my youth was a reflection of my mother. Every morning (until about 6th grade), she would pick out every outfit I wore. Skorts were a popular choice with her because they were girly yet functional.  Now I love my mother, but skorts were not cute back in the day; however the recent re-emergence of them has forced me to reconsider wearing one.

Me oh my, it's been quite sometime since I've blogged, but I'm back! Since my hiatus, I upgraded my iPad situation (or downgraded if we are talking about size). I recently became the owner of an iPad mini! I am absolutely in love. It is so compact and easy to travel with. Only problem is now I need a new case to go with it. I rounded up some of my favorite cases/ sleeves. The pink theme was unintentional; guess I am just feeling girly this week! I would love to hear what cases your ipads are being protected in!

Summer in Arizona has been particularly brutal this year. That dry heat I am so accustom to has been replaced by humidity, and my face has taken most of the beating. Grease and sweat has made my face an absolute mess, so I rounded up some of my top rated buys to get it under control!

1. |  Clear Complexion Blotting Linens. When you are on the go and need to clean up oil spots, these blotting wipes are just what you need. They seep up any excess oil without smudging your makeup!

2. | Skindinavia No More Shine Makeup Finish 2oz. Spritz this makeup finish on your face to prevent oil and surface shine. It is made for sensitive skin, so it is just what I need.

3. | Acne Control Treatment with Salicylic Acid. I have extremely sensitive skin, so strong acne treatments irritate my face more than help it. This acne treatment contains salicylic acid, which is a gentle way to take care of my breakouts

4. | Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer. This primer helps lock in makeup and keeps it from melting off your face on those hot summer days.

Egyptian Goddess Necklace : This was just another one of my favorites from LeMode Accessories! The turquoise color is perfect for summer, and of course, I'm always down for a good statement piece!

Arrow Bracelet: I have a semi-small obsession with arrows right now (thank you Kacey Musgraves). I found this bracelet on Nordstrom's website and loved the daintiness of it! Perfect for a small arm party!

Petunia Print Heel: Sometimes the easiest way to add intrest to your outfit is with your shoes! These Anthropologie ones are no exception. The mixing of prints is perfect for almost any ensemble, and the best part is they are only $40!

Faux Leather Shorts: I'm always looking for comfortable way to wear leather in the summertime! These shorts are perfect because of the elastic waistband and can be paired with almost anything!

Number Bottle Stopper: These wine bottle stoppers are beyond adorable, and I love the whimsy of them. Another item on my must-have kitchen essentials list!

Essie's Summer Collection: Lastly, there is Essie's Summer Nail Collection. I would love to have any one of these colors on my nails! They are so fresh and crisp and capture the feeling of summer perfectly!
